What was the #1 Song on this Date in History?

by Mike Smith on June 7, 2011

The website looks like it was built on the day that the internet was created but it has the song you are looking for. It was made by Josh Hosler and uses information from Billboard magazine. You can find the number one song for each day of the year all the way back into the early 1890s even though Billboard’s first issue was published in 1894. So if you’re looking for the number one song on the Billboard charts for your birthday, wedding day, or any other special occasion, check out the #1 Song on this Date in History site!

Here are a few of my favorite songs that were #1 on the Billboard charts on the day that I was born.
